Laurie Dent

Artist Bio & Description: Laurie Dent is a lifelong artist and master of creative chaos, working across a dizzying array of mediums-including off loom bead weaving, origami, macrame, gilding, assemblage, and just about anything else that can be glued, stitched, or transformed. Her studio, a sprawling pole barn, houses an impressive (some might say alarming) collection of raw materials and found objects, all waiting for their moment of reinvention. A dedicated upcycler and vintage collector, she weaves history into her shadow boxes and art, proving that nothing is ever truly "junk"-just a masterpiece in waiting.
