Artist Bio & Description: Between Boats Handmade Jewelry: The idea began at a workbench in the focsle of a small sailboat. The small sailboat took me to a school in San Francisco where I studied jewelry making. The following decade of salty summers fishing for salmon in Alaska provided inspiration. Today I am between boats and making silver jewelry in my backyard greenhouse in Port Townsend. Fish and beach-combed treasures are recurring themes. Traditional silversmithing techniques and responsibly sourced materials are my medium.
