Brian Goodman
Artist Bio & Description: Brian Goodman has been creating photographic imagery for 50+ years. Always captivated by the visual interplay between light, color, texture, and movement, his obsession is reflected in his photographic images that have spanned the globe, capturing stirring landscapes, intriguing characters, and thought-provoking studies. Brian studied photography and design at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design, Jerusalem, and the Otis/Parsons School of Art & Design, Los Angeles. After spending 40 years working in commercial photography and graphic design in various capacities, including graphic designer, lab technician, studio manager, photographer, and studio owner, Brian retired from the commercial photography and graphic design world to focus exclusively on his fine art photographs and photographic creations. Brian’s award winning images have been exhibited in group and solo shows across the country and his work is held in private collections worldwide. His published works include, Manzanar: Their Footsteps Remain – 40 Years of Photography, PEOPLE PLACES THINGS - A Photographic Journey, Still Here – Portraits of the Chemakum, and soon to be released, Chasing Light Beams. Brian is currently a partner/owner at the Grover Gallery in Port Townsend, WA. He resides with his wife Shira and their black Labrador, Shooshi, in beautiful Port Townsend, WA.
