Artist Bio/Description: If you ask, I am a sculpture. Years of exploring wearable art, as defined as sculpture on the body, I’ve found that I value using discarded objects to create sculptures. Inspirations often come from a place of curiosity, playfulness and felt sense. A felt sense is a way of exploring a feeling in the body without the typical emotional labels. Being a therapist, I spend time with the emotional spaces and find art as a way of exploring and maybe explaining a feeling. Some wearable art will be displayed along with sculpture assemblage. We will be working on projects and listening to music, maybe even some dancing.
