Radha Newsom

Artist Bio/Description: Radha is a weaver devoted to the craft of willow basketmaking. She creates her art on quiet Marrowstone Island. Her small willow farm, a tangle of waving branches in summertime, supplies all her needs for materials.

Each basket is woven with traditional techniques from Europe, with a mix of natural colors from 15 varieties of willow.

Watch her weave, and join her in making a small star or crescent moon of willow to bring home with you. Baskets for the garden and home will be available for purchase.
