Artist Bio & Description: Victoria Foster Harrison is an encaustic printmaker, collage artist, and mixed media explorer working from her boutique Curly Girl Art Studio in the North Beach neighborhood of Port Townsend. Her long-time practice is rooted in curiosity and discovery, embracing both precision and spontaneity to create works that feel organic, layered, and full of movement.

Using pigmented beeswax on a heated palette, Victoria crafts one-of-a-kind encaustic monotypes that capture the energy of the moment in fluid, atmospheric forms. Her process is less about control and more about response, allowing wax, heat, and paper to interact in ways that often surprise even her. These prints become the foundation for her layered compositions, where encaustic, collage, and mark-making intertwine, evoking the quiet rhythms of nature and time.
