Instant Analog Pinhole Photography: Expose a Shot and Develop on the Spot at Fremont Photo Company!
Instant Analog Pinhole Photography: Expose a Shot and Develop on the Spot!
A pinhole camera and a darkroom in one box. You'll shoot photos, develop them in your hands, and walk out holding them, all in about 90 minutes.
Hosted by Jen Cohen (USA) and Martin Vanners (The Netherlands) at Fremont Photo Company, Las Vegas
Oct 4: Session 1: 11:00am-12:30pm
Oct 4: Session 2: 1:00pm-2:30pm
Oct 4: Session 3: 3:00pm-4:30pm
Location: Fremont Photo Company, 623 S 8th St, Las Vegas, Nevada
Something a little slower…and likely a lot more hands-on.
In this workshop, you’ll shoot and develop your own black-and-white pinhole photographs using the Pinsta Camera, a simple setup that’s both camera and darkroom in one.
You’ll make your image, process it on the spot, and walk away holding a physical 4×5 print you created yourself. Things won’t be perfect, and that’s the point. Pinhole photography has a way of bending perspective, softening edges, and giving you that wide, slightly surreal view you just can’t get any other way.
No experience needed. We’ll guide you through it step by step and then let you experiment. Just come curious and see what happens.
All materials included. Join us for 1, 2 or all 3 sessions!
Each session is kept small so everyone gets real one-on-one time with Jen and Martin, not a lecture.
Jen and Martin have introduced thousands of people to the Pinsta Camera around the world, from art schools in the Pacific Northwest to galleries like Blue Sky and Unique Photo, with their work featured in Analog Forever, Shots, and Forum. Now they're bringing it to Las Vegas, and they can't wait to share it with you.
"The Pinsta pinhole photography workshop was phenomenal! The teaching was clear and hands-on, making it easy to pick up the process quickly. Seeing my first image develop was mind-blowing. This workshop exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to explore more.” - Leila B.
“The process was fascinating and surprisingly soothing, making me appreciate the art of photography on a deeper level. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore or expand their creativity.” - Lynn S.
Special collaboration pricing with Fremont Photo Company. Same full workshop experience, just more accessible.
A few things people ask:
Do I need my own camera? Everything is provided for use during the workshop.
What should I wear or bring? Nothing but yourself. Pinhole photography has a mind of its own, soft edges, unexpected light, small surprises in every print, so the only real requirement is being okay with not knowing exactly what you'll get until you get it.
Can I switch sessions later? Email us, we’re flexible!
Is it good for beginners, kids, or groups? This one is 18+, groups are welcome, absolutely no experience necessary (except for 18 years of being a human).
Where can I see some examples of Pinsta pinhole images and the process? Pinsta Camera website and Instagram.
If a session is sold out, email us to join the waitlist: jen@rawartcollective.org
Refund Policy: Full refunds are available through September 1, 2026, or if the class minimum is not met. No refunds will be issued after that date due to the cost of materials and Martin's international travel. You're welcome to transfer your session(s) to another person at any time.
