Artist Bio & Description: Rebecca Welti's wood sculpture invites a close look at the fascinating world of Salish Sea life and especially the plankton. Large scale carved forms show how these tiny organisms support all life on Earth. At her new studio on a main street in Port Townsend, visitors will experience her installations both inside and outside in the adjacent grounds. The Dive-In Theater (in the studio driveway) will be showing outdoor plankton films nightly at sundown. Easy access for all to enjoy the splendor of plankton on the big screen.
